We are thrilled with the transformation of Luna over the years. From late nights designing in her bedroom to creating a global following of Luna Lovers, founder Fion can’t wait for what the future will bring. Check out the timeline below to see how far we’ve come and where we plan to go!
2016
After many nights spent creating custom clothing for her competitions, founder Fion became aware that there was a gap in the market for fashion forward pole wear. Fion decided to combine her passion for pole dance and her background in fashion design, to create her own pole wear designs. Later that year Luna Pole Wear was born.
2016-2018
Following much success within the pole dance industry, Luna Pole Wear quickly became a household name, being known for great fit, unique and innovative designs. Luna Pole Wear was able to connect and collaborate with inspiring influencers from around the globe. A team of like-minded strong females was formed to bring to life Fion’s vision. Fion then decided there was room for growth, and expansion, hence the creation of Lunalae.
2019-2020
After rebranding into Lunalae, the company has its sights set on new exciting things. This includes expanding avenues and spreading its wings to looks you can wear outside of pole, such as Lingerie and Activewear. As well, Lunalae will continue to focus on providing versatile, fashion-forward outfits tailored to the pole industry, designed to be worn from class to the stage. For a better tomorrow Luna has changed its ethos to ensure we can have an eco-friendlier future. All packaging and swing tags have been made and produced with natural fibres to ensure they are all 100% biodegradable. Focus is now on garments made from recycled or natural fibres.
Future
Lunalae believes it is important to move towards a more sustainable future. As we grow as a brand, we continue to search for more ways in which we can co-exist with mother earth, caring about fashion as well as our future.
